Hardworking Rider: Marshall

I've known Marshall for a while now, and it's always really hard to get a hold of him because he's either working in the construction buisness, planning out future contests/jams and/or actually building them, doing maintenance at his (new) local trails & BMX track or getting busy with the ladies!

For the past couple of years, he wanted to get some trails going 'legally' and this year was the 'do or die' year. With a lot of patience & the help of good friends, Marshall finally got the approbation of the city of L'Assomption to get some trails running next to the BMX track. Big thanks to the local riders for their continuous hard work and commitment, without them, all this work would and will take a lot more time!

Digging

Here's what the dirt jumps looked like 1 month ago. This is just the beginning!
The beginning

Marshall teamed up with Simon Villeneuve to create MarshallTown. The two man crew take care of organizing sport events for BMX, MTB, Skate, Snow & Ski, building/renovating skateparks & dirt jumps and being alternative sports consultants.

Here are 3 dates to remember this summer:

July 21-23: Festival d'Art Urbain de Repentigny
August 13: L.A. Jam de L'assomption
Agust 20: Skatefest Lavaltrie

We've recently been on a trip to Toronto and Marshall got a chance to test out his brand new Suburban Dirt 2011. He's been riding 24's forever and he finally made the switch to 26's! Here's a riding photo and a bike check.

I know who he is, and he's been running the same fork for over 5 years. He simply switch parts if they break, he bought my Dirt jumper simply for the internal.. he's a wise guy! And he works REALLY hard for all these trails!

Well Voltage is fairly right though untill you have ridden an 06 dj 3 and up you would know that they are a goood forkk and that it wont break and if it does its just blown and needs to be re-built witch should be done every 2-3 years anyways.. I have yet to hear about someeone breaking an 06 dj at alll.. Just saying other then my buddie blowing his fork witch isnt breaking Smile.

Yeah but there is a slight issue that its a 15mm though and not as strong as his current fork. A float 36 or he should keep his fork most defff.
