2 weeks ago Louis Lhomel, Marshall, Joe Karam, Simon Leclerc & I went on this roadtrip to Chicoutimi, QC, to attend the annual
SAGBMX Halloween Jam. The Jam was held at their local indoor bikepark in an actual church!
OutsideInside! On the way there we stopped at a couple unique spots we could still ride before it got too cold. One of those spots was the Shipshaw Dam. This place was totally nuts. You can judge by yourself just at looking at the pictures!
Then we headed to the Jonquière trails that are probabably at their last year running since houses will be built on the land next year. That's a real bummer since they are pretty much the only set of descent trails in the entire Quebec province... When we got there the jumps were not really ridable because of the rain, so we rode the super fun step up!
After having fun in the dirt, we headed towards the Jam with this beautiful sunset view on the road.
The Jam was a complete success and David Caron from
LeProjet.tv was on location to grab a handfull of
photos & and gather loads of footage to make this well put together video. Check it out!
The weekend roadtrip was a great success and everyone had an awesome time. From riding unique spots, to meeting up & riding with real good friends that live in the area, to partying like animals with them afterhours, this was definitely a weekend to remember! Thanks to Mickey & Johnny from letting us crash at their place and to everyone from
SAGBMX for being just so awesome!
